About us
Kobarid is the most picturesque town in the Soča Valley. It is the most well known historical town of Slovenia due to the famous battle during World War I.
One of the most beautiful rivers of Europe, the Soča, flows pass Kobarid and the surrounding mountains are a paradise for paragliders, mountain bikers and climbers.
Our guests can enjoy in endless, whole year round possibilities of pleasure, fun and well-being that can be found in a rich historical and cultural heritage with the renowned Kobarid Museum, excellent inns, ideal location for various sport activities (fishing, rafting, canoeing, parachuting, horse riding, skiing, cross-country skiing, walking and many others). Fun and excitement can also be found in the nearby casino (3,5 km).
Accomodation
Currently three apartments are available for our guests. They are located at two locations in Kobarid.
All of them are well equipped. Parking lot, balcony, SAT-TV, large terrace, washer/ drier, dish washer, air conditioning.
Price of the individual accomodation unit depends on its size.
Kobarid is easily accessible, taking only an hour’s drive from Udine (Videm) and Travisio (Trbiž) motorways and an hour and a half drive from Ljubljana, Slovenia´s capital.
From the direction of Ljubljana: the fastest route is via Vrhnika, Logatec, Idrija towards Tolmin and then to the North, towards Kobarid. You may also choose the route via Skofja Loka, Cerkno, Most na Soci, Tolmin and then towards Kobarid.
Location 1: Apartments LIA, Krilanova 10, 5222 Kobarid: immediately after the statue of the poet Simon Gregorčič there is a narrow passage between the square and Krilanova ulica (Street). After the passage you can find yourself in front of the Triglav Insurance Company building. The apartment is upstairs in this building.
Location 2: Apartments LIA, Volaričeva 9, 5222 Kobarid: pass the church and turn into the Volaričeva ulica (Street) and after some 10 meters you can find the flat on the first floor of the large building at number 9.
