Tržiška bistrica is great salmonide river. It is an alpine, fast river with many pools and rapids where fish hide.
Fly- fishing is permitted from the castle in Jelendol village to the place where river flows into the Sava river. Fish: beautiful browns, great rainbows and grayling. Dry flies all season (nymphs and streamers are permitted also). It is managed by the Fishing club of Tržič.
