We made a fly fishing trip to Slovenia on 6.6-13.6.10. We fished Sava Bohinjca, Soca, Lepenjica and Irdijca. The weather was really HOT, 25-31 all the trip and water level low on rivers.

It was first time to Sava Bohinjca and Soca for me, I have been in Idrijca before. Some places on SavaB was quite growded and some nice spots there was too many fishermen. Soca was amazing and beautiful place to visit, not easy fishing and hot days made walking with waders really hard.

We catched some really nice graylings and quite a many rainbows both natural and stocked. The evening hatches in Idrijca was really great again and fish was rising like grazy, amazing dry fly fishing!

Only thing I am not happy about is the large number of stocked trout on these rivers. There's enaught wild fish also to fish on your rivers, why to put those ugly rainbows there!

Because a lot of people in leadership of flyfishing clubs thinks, that everyone that comes to fishing here MUST catch a lot of fishes, regardles of skill level, water level, weather conditions... Idiotism of 1st class...
